Akira Japanese Steakhouse is a family-operated restaurant that has been opened since February 2007. We are the first Japanese Steakhouse to open in Plainfield, Indiana, and strive to give the best experience and food to each of our customers.

We serve a variety of sushi, as well as noodles, steak, chicken and seafood, with the latter being cooked right in front of you!

Our chefs will light up an onion volcano with their hands, and throw food for you to catch with your mouth.

We are located on West Washington Street in front of Andy Mohr Ford and Andy Mohr Chevrolet in the strip mall called Plainfield Village. Stores that are located next to us are Kids Go Round and Mattress Gallery.
